'Twas nothing to my mortal eyes, The fading of the Earth, the fall of the skies, When I called upon the gods of old, Who once so struggled eternal, bold. For the world is blighted, The dogs of war delighted, Kings and Kingdoms lain to waste, By the hand of death erased. The siren call of fallen ones, Echoes throughout the broken ruins, Once a city, a pride of its people, Now a haunt, a nest for the night. Such are the visions of the future I see, From which we all hope to quickly flee, But I will embrace the Fall of Man, I will make the final stand. |
