Post subject:  I see your face in every mirror-PG
I see your face in every mirror,
And every windowpane,
The north wind in my soul might billow,
But my heart can nothing tame.

Though normal person you claim to be,
Yet I see you as nought but divine,
You always were something special to me,
But never could or would be Mine.

I’d wish to be the suns bright beam,
To constantly light your life’s way.
I desire nought but to be your daydream,
That in bliss we may sail away.

I would be the hat in summer you wear,
To ward off the cruel heat,
I would be the comfy cotton socks,
You wear to warm your feet.

If being close to you meant I’d lose my mind,
I would gladly go insane,
Yet in your sight I would a greater thing find,
The queen of my heart, forever to reign.

But since you learned to hate me,
I can love you openly no more,
Yet always, in my heart, I will love Thee,
Be it in cosmopolitan city or deserted moor.

Hope’s bright guiding beacon alone doth stay,
My life too far from the path going,
That from you I may never too far stray,
Despite the winds of change ever blowing.
