ok, I haven't been on AU in FOREVER, but I thought I'd post this here, because EA, my sister, loved it so much. this is the only good poem I've ever written, hence the first one I've ever written outside of school work. It was inspired heavily by Cassia and Siobhan's portayla of Aragorn and Legolas in The Mellon Chronicles (www.aragorn-legolas.5u.com) so without further ado.. enjoy. I hope you never fall my friend, But if you ever do, Then hold me tightly in your arms, And drag me down with you. Through all life's storms I'll be with you, I'll stand right by your side. Don't be afraid, you’re not alone. Just put your hand in mine. Though all of your life's battles, Through all the long, hard years, I'll be standing right beside you, Through laughter and through tears. And when all our fears have passed away I will not bid farewell. If we’re laughing through the dark times, Why not laugh through these as well? Together we will face the world, Together we can win. Together we will last long years, Our bond will not wear thin. And you know that I won’t leave you Not even at the end. For even death can't part us, Because you are my friend. ~Kel |
