Cascade, Cascade, Then slow it all down. Listen, Listen, As noise whirls around. I hear its little pindrops, Small in the ocean, But great in the mind. Rotating everyways, Arpeggios summoning The beauty of the world. My hymn and your song, A word for all creation, The fulfillment of the soul. And it keeps Cascading, Cascading, As natural as Nature's flow. The music of the sky, The toccata of the moon, The sun's mighty fugue. Delicate, So delicate, Until it fades a bit. Flying, So high... Ascending the scale Of the feeling of the nights. My children will hear it, Yours will too, It's deep within the soul, That once, as the infant's, Flew. So listen to God's rhapsody, The twilight's humming Melody. Give it a thought, So one day, On the future's mighty day... You can hear it too. |
