Lothlórien (Rated K+)

The Rowan and the Mallorn weep,
Eärendil's star shines still,
While Nimrodel runs soft and deep,
The lark's sweet song is shrill.
The loveliness of golden wood,
And glory of the haven;
Pale Niphrodil in shadows stood,
The secret of fair Lórien.

With bark of silver, leaves of gold,
Stand Mallorns in the spring,
Their leaves that fall turn not to mold,
The merry Elves they sing,
And Celebrant flows strong and true,
With many snaking twists;
The brilliant sky an azure blue,
And flowers grow in mists.

Where yellow Elanor once bloomed
And Elves once sang of stars,
Now silence reigns forever doomed
And darkness grows afar.
Immortals left for Havens Grey
And years cannot console them;
The seasons come and pass away,
In mourning, fair Lórien.
