THE AGE OF MAN
By sword we hold our land,
Pressing on the evil hand.
Though death's cold grasp is ever near,
We cast aside our every fear.
We fight for life and fight for death,
Knowing this could be our final breath.
But the age of man is comming fast,
The question now, will it last?
Our one hope travels through black lands,
Ever close to the enmies hands.
His eye watching day and night,
Only to be destracted by our fight.
Long last we prevail,
But at what cost and what trivale?
All is safe from enemie hands,
We have held Gondor's lands!
The age of man is now at hand,
Pouring over this blood stained land.
But the age of man will not die,
For it's held by the king on high!
Just something I wrote about LOTR. Just for the fun of it.

Its good, does flow well and the rhyming doesn't sound forced which is good..

Any advice to help me in my poetry writing from ANYONE is welcomed and appriciated.

No, I cant give you any advice because I liked it...A LOT! And generally I dont like other people's poems because many times the ryhming sounds stressed etc. but I really like this! Kudos!

lol. Thanks. I would like to. I am writing a book of poetry but he main thing is (naturaly finishing it first) and the cost. It is going to cost around 1500 so I will have to come up with that fro somewhere...
I had an idea about having somone else write in teh book as well so we split the book. That way it would split the cost as well but there is no one else I know that would be interested so...
