I sat down one day on my computer and just started writing this poem.

"Inspiration"

The dark night sky is filled with stars,
they're way high up; they seem so far
An imagination ladder built to climb so high
When I'm inspired I can reach the sky.

I paint a picture in my head
With oceans blue and roses red.
Trees bright green and clouds so white,
A raven's feathers as dark as night.

I look around and take it in,
a magical land where I've never been.
A majestic place where I can dream,
and things are always what they seem.

Rippling streams, moonlight on the ground
make me stop and turn around.
I listen to the rain and hear the breeze,
watch the butterflies and the bees.

I catch the stars and rule the land,
sprinkle star dust from my hand.
I sail the ocean wide and blue,
there's so many things that I can do.

Purple flowers with morning dew,
a rainbow of colours and different hues.
I watch the water of the sea
and imagine all the things that I can be.

A lush green valley that goes on for miles,
White snow falls every once and a while,
If there were ever a prize for a perfect place,
my inspiration would win the race.

I need some feedback on it, since it's the first 'real' poem i've wrote. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS POEM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!
