Right, I've been asked to write either prose or creative writing on my veiws about death. This is what I wrote but I don't know whether it goes off my views a bit, but I don't understand how I could put my views in to a story. (I can't write poetry.)
Well, you read it and tell me what you think.

Ella

Ella watched the roses bloom, each day they opened a little further. She was seven years old; she couldn’t work out what had happened to the soft pink petals when one day she found them brown. Mummy said they had died but Ella didn’t believe her, she said that she could still smell them. Ella’s aunty came that day and said that they were going for a day out, just Ella and her aunt, so mummy could go and see someone. Ella liked days out and she liked her aunty. They played in the park and saw ducks, went to the pool and swam like mermaids. When Ella got home she told her mummy about it, how much fun she’d had. She wanted to tell daddy but when she asked where he was mummy said to her, “daddy’s dead.” Ella looked at her mummy, mummy looked tired and she had red eyes. “But he can’t be” Ella said, “I can still smell him.”

When Ella got older she always thought of her daddy when she saw roses, she knew that he was still with her because she could still smell him, just like the roses.
