Once in glory great,
They walked upon the land.
Deciding of so manny a fate,
They held within there hand.

Glory shining in the night,
But now it all is gone.
Like a quickly passing light,
A slowly fading song.

Now a memory we are left,
With only but a few.
Drawing every lasting breath,
Drawing long and true.

Holding in the memory,
A fading myth of light.
That leaves behind there legacy,
Shining in the night.

Gone, gone forever now,
Far into the west.
Gone, Gone without a trace,
Gone to take there rest.

Gone for peace and gone for love, gone for light and grace,
Gone for ever for all time dwelling in there place.
Gone to white shroes, the haven o'r the sea,
Gone across the watters forever to be free.

The gray havens hold our hearts, forever more to be.

Hey, by the way, the friend i told u about who wrote poetry......well, he joined!!! :) his s/n on here is darkphoenix1214. i told him 2 pm u but idk if he will or not........just to let ya know!!!! :-D

ya, i hope he will. He's not real keen on sharing it w/ ppl though...........& all of hi poems r like 7 pages long. lol :-D But i still hope he will. He writes in a diff. style than u do......... he kind of writes in 3rd person. Like, if he's really sad, his poem will say something like: (*cums ^ w/ really crappy poem thingy compared to friend"s & Jax's....* hehe)

The boy stared out the window
As rain drops slid down
They matched the tears
That slid down his own face.

or sumthing like that (only a million times beter than mine...lol :) )

but ya, anway, hoepfully he will. lol 8) i really do ramble a lot, don't I?no wonder my friends hate talking 2 me on aim. lol 8)

aim is aol instant messaging...........u know like when u talk back & forth.....kind like @ ur website when we chat, only every1 has a s/n & a password like on here............u've never used aim?? :confuzzled:

No I'm not. I never say something if I don't think it's true... normaly. I try to never do it. But I didn't this time I can say that honestly. :)

Well, thanks. I don't really think it was that good.....I wish I could write poetry.......I mean, I really do. I would if I could but, idk..........once I sit down 2 write, I just end up brain dead. *shrugs* idk y. :confuzzled:

Sorry. :( All I could say to help is the more you practice the better you get. shugs* sorry if that doesn't help though. But everyone has things there better at and things they are not so great at.

ya, u'd think it'd get over it. lol :) same thing w/ writing stories. ugg....I mean, i LOVE to write, but i just get stuck.......it's prob. just b/c i have no patience wut so ever. lol 8) So i get stuck b/c i don't sit & really think. *shrugs*

Yeah I am sure you would get better. You kn ow what they say "Pracice makes perfect"

Naturaly no one will ever be perfect but it gets the point accros. :)

ya. whenever i get fursturated i just think "You couldn't play My Heart Will Go On on the piano the 1st time u tried, but now u can play it w/ out thinking about it." practice does make perfect. :)
