I've been praying lately, & I God has put it on my heart to tell a few of my friends about my faith. But for some reason, this can be kind of difficult for me. So, I wrote this poem.

Help me, Help her see
Lost and alone,
Scared and afraid.
She wants to know
Of the price that He paid.
I want to tell her,
want her to see.
But I can’t help but ask,
Does it have to be me?
What will I tell her?
What will I say?
Look, this is God.
Trust in him and pray?
What if she laughs,
Or thinks that I’m strange?
What if she thinks
That it’s too late to change?
Forgive me for doubting,
But Lord, I just don’t see
Why I have to be the one to tell her;
Why it has to be me.
But then I remember
What I’m trying to claim.
I’m trying to tell her
To trust in your name.
So I’m taking a leap of faith.
I know that you’re here with me.
God, please give me strength.
Help me, help her see.
