There is a light in your eyes.
I see it when you laugh,
When you smile, your eyes twinkle.
It is like a candle in the night,
A million fireflies,
The star-strewn sky.
I know that you are happy
When I see
The light in your eyes.

aww, it's great. I really like it! it's like... something I could have written myself to my ex (if he was still my boyfriend, of course). You're really talented!

yeah, so do I. one of my best poem is out there somewhere - sadly no one ever reads it  I've had kind of a "low" period the last... half year tho. but I actually wrote a new poem in june, and I really liked it. so I hope I can continue writing
