I've been thinking about getting an air purifier because the dust in my house seems to build up so quickly, even though I clean often. I’ve seen some systems that claim to work with HVAC units, but I’m not sure how effective they are. Do HVAC-compatible air purifiers actually clean the air throughout the whole home, or is it just a gimmick?

Yes, HVAC-compatible air purifiers can absolutely help improve air quality across your entire home — they’re not just a gimmick. Unlike standalone purifiers that only clean the air in a single room, HVAC-integrated systems filter all the air circulating through your ducts. I recommend checking out this article for a more detailed breakdown: https://www.naludamagazine.com/do-air-purifiers-really-work-with-hvac-systems/. It explains how these systems work, the different types available (like HEPA filters, UV lights, and electrostatic purifiers), and what to consider before installing one. You’ll also find insights into maintenance requirements and how HVAC purifiers can reduce allergens, pet dander, smoke, and more. If you’re dealing with frequent dust and want a whole-home solution, this might be exactly what you need.

I’ve been following this thread with interest. I don’t have an air purifier yet, but I’ve been reading about them for a while now. It seems like there are many different types and uses, depending on the space and specific concerns like allergies or odors. Whether you go for a portable model or an HVAC-integrated one, it’s definitely something worth considering if indoor air quality is a priority.
