Nice story. I think it would be nice if my family would like LotR as well. I'm the only one who's read it, my mom and sis watched it with me, my dad knows nothing about it.. my mom liked it, but she's not that interested to read the book though. My sister hates it nowadays.. don't know why

I revisited AU on Jan 14th after an almost 10-year break! The nostalgia..!

My whole family likes it, even the kids who are too young to watch it... though I'm certainly the most obsessed. My older brother and sister like it less than they used to. They've sort of forgotten it for other things (like so very many people.) One of my younger sisters really likes it, though she hasn't done much studying on it. She always gets me to tell her ancient elven tales. One of my little brothers totally missed the point, and he's read the books but didn't really care. He likes Narnia and Star Wars way more. My parents both have a mild liking for it, but as middle-aged parents of seven kids, they don't really have time to be obsessing over a fantasy story! So I'm more alone than you'd think.

ok. seven kids? wow. o.0 my parents have a mild liking for it too, although my father thinks it has too much fighting, he always enters the tv room in the middle of the battle of pelennor fields.. he always does that. and mom&sis get in always in the middle of some very emotional scene when I'm weeping a puddle on the floor. haha. maybe I'll get them to watch one of the movies with me sometime..
