Ehh Rowling's books are very unique compared to Brooks'... he literally took SO many things from LotR it's not even funny... I'll just start with the names... "Eowen"... "Elessedil" (<-- a mix of "Elessar" and "Elendil"?), etc... I'm at school now so I can't really say much about it (I'll get caught on A-U..) but yeah I doubt I'm the only one who thinks this about Terry Brooks.

I have his first book the Sword of Shannara which I have yet to read, but I have heard that Terry Brooks has taken a lot from LOTR. I'll have to wait and see how I like it.
