Well, I bet I'm going to be the only person on the forum to say this, but I find I relate, scarily so, to Morgoth.

Really wierd, but if you look at the descriptions of him in the first bits of The Silmarillion (the Ainulindale, and "Of the Valar," etc.), he's actually a lot like me, he just takes everything way too far. I find I'm possessive, like he is, and I do find some join in the possession along with the making, like Morgoth, whereas Aule just enjoys the making. So, yeah. I relate to Morgoth.

I like the descriprions of Morgoth in the Silmarilion... After all he's just a misunderstood kid wanting to explore his creative talents in a way the majority didn't like. - And yes, he happened to be quite the strong and hot-tempered kid, so he took it way too far as you say!! But I do see what you mean. I think I understand Morgoth's motives in the first place and I see how you might relate to him, but please... don't take it to the edge as he did! lol

I identify myself with Legolas. Just like him I like all nature and feel like home around trees  I'm always ready to help a friend in need.
I also prefer the "lonely hero" type (the scene with the warg attack upon the rohan refugees in TTT or the battle with the Mumakil in RotK). I can work in group but I don't want to take responsibility for the others like one particular Theoden or Faramir.
