So, dose anyone have a fav Sil couple? I have three, Luthien and Beren, Idril and Tuor and Arethdethel and Eol. Any others?

Celeborn and Galadriel! I love Celeborn's character... in LOTR Galadriel herself says that he is the wisest of all beings on Middle-earth..

Galadriel and Celeborn all the way!!!!!!!!! Its so touching and romantic how Galadriel stays with Celeborn even though her brothers leave and ask her to come with them, but she stays with Celeborn because she loves him. Its so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Idril and Tuor. I don't know why really...they just seem cool. I love Gondolin  I also love Luthien and Beren, and Galadriel and Celeborn of course!

I think beren and Luthien was just a so....intrigiung story, i really read it maybe six times.

umm...i liked luthien and beren and Thingol and Melian, and galadriel and celeborn....why did they pronounce celeborn selborn in the movies???

I don't think they cared how they pronounced his name, that or they didn't know how. I pronounced it wrong too until I read the Sil. 
I love all the couples in the Silmarillion, but I think the best story is Luthien's and Beren's (even thought Galadriel's always been my favorite character). I don't really like Aredhel and Eol's couple. Even though the Silmarillion says that Aredhel didn't have a problem with marrying him, I personally think she didn't like him. _________________ <center>  </center>
