I'm interested to know did Tokien actually create the languages of Tengwar and Quenya fully alongside the black tongue etc?

If so are there any books of language written by Tokien that i may be able to find? I'm just curious!

I don't think he fully developed the Black Tongue or Tengwar, but he did fully develop Quenya into a language, and Sindarin was also really developed.

yeah, Quenya and Sindarin definitely are very developed languages, but I don't think that he spent that much time thinking about the Black Speech etc.

Salo.

He did all the Elvish translations in the movies. And he knows all about the language because he actually studied it.

wow! That's brilliant. I heard about being able to study it but how did he manage to do so before he wrote the book...where did he get the elvish from?
