I thought that it would be cool to make a thread with trivia questions on Tolkien's works.

I'll go first:

***Bonus: Name them.

Post subject:

A: 13 dwarves. Balin, Kili, Fili, Gloin, Oin, Thorin, Bifur, Bombur, Bofur, Dori, Nori, Dwalin, and Ori.

Q: Under what condition would Gimli agree to be blindfolded while be led through Lothlorien? In the end, what did the fellowship agree to do to solve the problem?

A:He agreed to it as long as Legolas would be blinfolded, also. In the end, Aragorn decided that the entire Fellowship was led blindfolded.

Q:Okay, what kind of geographical location is Romenna, where was it located, and who dwelt there?

The Dead Marshes.

What is the name of the giant ram that breaks into Mias Tirith?
**Bonus: What is it named after, and who was it origionally owned by?

Post subject:

No. Wrong marshes(Close though. The Dead Marshes are more east of the Emyn Muil.). I was not being clear enough. Revised question: What is the name of the marshes east of the Anduin and south of the Emyn Muil, where the Mouths of the Entwash Meet the Anduin?

The battering ram was named Grond. Named after Morgoth's mace Grond, also known as 'The Hammer of the Underworld'.
