That's cool, how long did it take you?

Oh yes, it is! My English teacher caught me once and asked what I was doing. I tried to explain I was writing in the language of the Elves but I don't think it went over well.

She was like "What are you doing?!" and when I explained she just gave me an odd look and went "O-kay then," and went on teaching the lesson. 'Twas quite fun.

I have written Legolas' song about Nimrodel in tengwar. Talk about LONG.
I don't think I'll ever attempt "Earendil was a mariner."

Once I wrote the date with the hobbit calender... my mom looked at it and was like "17 Winterfilth??!!?!?!?"
'Twas funny.

It's in the Appendices...I think it's Appendix D or maybe E...all the days have different names, that's what The Nightingale was talking about.

Yes! I'm not the only one who does crazy stuff like that when I get bored! I've memorized about 30 peoms and songs and writen a lot of them down, but have never written them in Tengwar, though I do write my name in Tengwar on almost all my school papers. Once one of my teachers asked what it was and I said elvish, and she asked what country they speak that in . I told her Valinor, Rivendell, Lothlorien, and Mirkwood and she said where's that and looked confused. I told her it was from The Lord of the Rings but I don't think she had any idea what I was talking about because she still looked confused.
