I like all the Valar but Yavanna is my favorit. I don't know exactly why, maybe because of her connection with the nature. |

Thanks Alessae, for bringing the Valar poll and especially for including all the long lost Valar. My favorite is still Varda Elentári... the star kindler, I can't put a finger on exactly what makes her my favorite... maybe it's Tolkien's descriptions of her: "Varda looked out upon the darkness, and was moved. Therefore she took the silver dew that dripped from Silpion and was hoarded in Valinor, and therewith she made the stars. And for this reason she is called Tintallë, the Star-kindler, and Elentári, Queen of Stars." Varda creating the Stars from The Lost Road |

Varda for me (ah yes, popular choice...). I always thought she just embodied what I expected the Elven women to be (yes, I am well aware she's far from being an elf, but she seems to resemble them): very beautiful, but strong and wise as well. And stars are cool

Varda, ever since I was little I have loved the stars so naturally I think Varda is my favorite. I am also quite keen with Este the healer, (I am here Maia  )

Varda....yes , a good choice Yavanna....hard to avoid but, I voted for Lorien....like my sig says....anything that grows... ..to see the gardens of Lorien, that would be a dream come true! |
