I’ve been in situations where I was forced to upgrade to an API’s newest version because the older one was discontinued. It was chaos, trying to rewrite code on a deadline. I’ve heard of some developers who create wrappers for APIs to simplify these updates. Is this a good strategy? If you’ve tried it, I’d love to know how effective it is and whether it saved time and stress in the long run. |
