Guys, has anyone actually used Bellhop Movers? I need to move around the city, nothing out of the ordinary - a couple of wardrobes, a bed, a few boxes. The whole joke is that I'm sick of shady companies where there's always some kind of mess: either they forget to show up, or they try to rip me off for "heavy things", although I clarified everything in advance. With Bellhop, it seems like everything is done through the app, you can even choose the time and the team. It sounds great, but I want a normal, honest bellhop moving review from those who have already gone through this. I'm especially interested in: is everything really as transparent and clear as they promise? Or are there pitfalls too? |

My husband and I moved from Charlotte to Atlanta last year and used Bellhop. At first, I was a little wary, too — well, everything looked too perfect on the website and in the app: a beautiful interface, everything online, in a couple of clicks you can choose the date, time, team members, pay... I even thought that we would be ripped off somewhere. But, oddly enough, everything went without incident. I really liked that after booking, I immediately received a confirmation and access to the profile of each team member — with a rating, photo, even a brief description of experience. It really feels like you know who will be coming to you. On the day of the move, the guys even arrived a little earlier, but they called first. They unpacked everything and carefully packed it (we also took the option with packing, because with a small child, it would have been difficult to do everything ourselves). I really liked that they were in no hurry, but they didn’t drag it out either — it was obvious that they worked in a coordinated manner, not for the first time. One cabinet barely fit through the doorway - I already thought that it would not do without scratches, but they somehow deftly disassembled it, and then put it back together in the new place. As for the prices - our final amount coincided with what was announced in the app. No surprises. And, by the way, the app is really convenient in this regard: you can see everything, the entire route, timing, the ability to write to support (and they respond quickly, it's not an answering machine). Of course, there can always be nuances, but compared to other, more "old-school" movers, this is a breath of fresh air, bellhop moving review from me is positive. I especially recommend it to those who value simplicity and technology on their side. |

Interesting, I was just recently thinking about Bellhop, but for an intercity move — St. Petersburg → Orlando. For now, I'm just monitoring reviews. I'm glad to hear that someone had a good experience. Transparency is also important for us, especially when it comes to money. It would be good if someone else shared their impressions of long-distance moves, not just local ones. |
