Had a bit of a close call last weekend — took the boat out on Lake Granbury and totally misjudged how much gas we had left. Ended up cutting the trip short just to be safe, which was a bummer because the weather was perfect. Next time I want to make sure I know exactly where I can refuel on the lake without going on a whole search mission. Anyone got solid recommendations for fuel spots around there? |

Oh man, I’ve been there too — trying to stretch the last bit of fuel while watching the gauge nervously. Not fun. These days, I just stop by Lake Granbury Marina when I’m out there. They’ve got a fuel dock right on site, super easy to pull up and fill up. Plus, if you need a break, there’s a restaurant and a small shop there too. It’s kind of our go-to now when we’re on the lake, makes things way simpler. |

I’ve never taken a boat out on Granbury, but I’ve visited the lake a few times for hiking and just hanging by the shore. It’s honestly a really chill spot. Always thought about trying a boat rental at some point, just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Threads like this are making me want to finally go for it. |
