@Ea: I unfortunately did not figure what was wrong, and we will need to call on the other techies. I've copied all the Elvish section pages into another folder, /elvish, and am editing on them from there. Once they're all done we can move them back to the main site. I've fixed all the main links on the main Elvish page, and the Introduction to Elvish page is basically all done with Dreamingfifi's work. The formatting for the David Salo interview is all done, too. It's just that my main problem for the FotR, TTT and RotK line pages is the thing I can't fix.

If you can show me exactly what is going on with the coding, then I'll try and help you.

When I am creating a new page, basically I take an entire page from AU that is similar to what I'm working on (i.e if I'm creating a links page I take the code from another links page) and then add each little new item of content, so I am not touching any of the main body or HTML codes, I'm just changing some of the content. I don't know if that is what you are doing, because I've sort of lost track of what content you are adding at the moment, but that should work no matter what you're adding. :-)

One quick note: in the Interview with David Salo, there's a little phrase that needs to be changed. At the bottom it says "rim henaid to David Salo", and a more correct way to say it would be in Quenya: "hantalë to David Salo".

Cancel that idea... I'll be continually updating/perfecting the little phrasebooks as new theories and publications come out - and redoing the pronunciation recordings for them every time I tweak them would be way too much hassle.

I started putting together the individual scripts, and there will be a total of 141 recordings. This is going to take a long time. How will I get the recordings to the people who need them?

After going through every line with the voice actors, I found a lot of typos and fixed them.

ETA: Also, I put double spaces in the phonetic transcription. I found that it made the transcription a lot easier to read. That's something I learned when going through it all with the voice actors.

And it is updated again. This time I had my husband, the walking spell-check, beta all of the English parts. We found a ton of typos and fixed them.

Then I used my husband's spellcheck superpower to correct the 101 phrasebooks.

Mwahahahahahaa

Thanks for all the work you've been putting into this, dreamingfifi. :) Are you still in contact with Harthad? Is everything being taken care of that you need to be?

*runs in* I'm here, I'm here! JF, when I try to do that, I still have to copy the words and things from dreamingfifi's pages that she set up, and then when I try to fix the formatting to match A-U's style, it doesn't work. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong. But all the pages that need to be updated/are updated are in the other Elvish folder, where they should be safe for the moment.

School's started for me, so I won't be around as often. Sorry, guys. :confuzzled:

School's started for me too. I'm doing the first recording session tomorrow.

How should I get these files to you? I have a dropbox, do you?

Well, I'm guessing we would upload the files to the website, so you should probably PM Nurr or JF for that, or try sending them to the moderators email...? Do we have an official 'A-U Revival' email somewhere?

Harthad, you don't have access to uploading on the site?
In that case we need to call upon Nurr or JF. :)

Oh, no, I do, but I'd need the files in the first place and I'm not sure I can get them by PM, and I don't really want to give out my email just yet.

How about just to me? I'm trustworthy, I think.
