Is there anyone out there who would be willing to write the character biographies we need for the Hobbit section?
Similar to what Arweb did for the LotR book characters, we ideally need someone who would be happy to do their research and write a comphrehensive biography of anyone who appears in the Hobbit. 
Some of the characters (Gandalf, Bilbo etc) who appear in both LotR and the Hobbit would most likely not have to be written again, we can simply use the same biographies in both sections.
So that leaves us with mainly the Dwarfs a few people and the occassional goblin. 
Here are the LotR biographies to give people an idea of what we would be looking for in a bio.

If more than one person would like to collaborate on this, then it would be up to the writers involved to work out how they plan on writing the information, so as to not make it look too obvious that they were written by completely different people. It would be nice to make them sort of flow, if you know what I mean. 
Now I know there are enough of you out there who love the Hobbit and the works of Tolkien and even more of you love writing. Go on, you know you want to precious. 
Below is a list of all the character bios that need to be written and their current staus:
Bilbo Baggins - LotR bio covers The Hobbit
Gandalf - LotR bio covers The Hobbit
Thorin Oakenshield - currently being written by Lhunardaien

Bifur
Bofur
Bombur
Elrond - LotR bio has no mention of The Hobbit, so needs revising
The Great Goblin
Gollum - LotR bio covers The Hobbit
Beorn
Elven King (Thranduil)
The Master of Lake Town
Smaug
Bard the Bowman
If you wish to write a bio, you must post here and tell me about it, so others will know not to write the same one etc. The same goes for when you have completed the bio, you must post here and tell me about it. This way there will be no confusion about who is doing what.
All bio details should be PM'd to me when they are finished. Any questions then feel free to ask!
