Post subject:  Is KYC always required?

KYC feels like the norm, but some sites advertise “no KYC unless you win big.” Is KYC always truly required at some stage, or are there actual cases where players withdrew multiple times without it? I’d like clarity on when it’s triggered, what documents are typical, and whether limits apply without it.

Short answer: not always at deposit, almost always at some withdrawal stage if a license demands compliance. KYC protects both sides—tax, AML, fraud, responsible gambling rules. Some casinos request it immediately, others only when triggers appear: big win, new region, chargeback flag, VPN mismatch, risk heuristics. A truly “no-KYC ever” casino usually means “no license,” which defeats the purpose. That’s why many members prefer regulated platforms like https://spin-buddha.org , where KYC is predictable and documented. Personally, I’d rather send documents once than fight support for weeks.
