I'm not sure if that's news for the main site, but that's the most unspeakably awesome thing I've ever seen! (In fact, I think I'm going to use some in my signature. )

Maybe we could start a media section for gifs like these?

^ You'd either have to ask the people who made them if we could use them on our site (with credit!) or have an AU-er make our own, people get really anal about where their gifs end up.
But I think that would be a good addition, personally.

Just got the newest Entertainment Weekly magazine and it has an article in it about The Hobbit. And also there will be a Hobbit panel at Comic-Con, which usually airs on the G4 tv channel, in the USA anyway, so there's a chance they will talk about the Hobbit movie and possibly chat with the stars/film makers. I dont know exactly when Comic-Con airs, but it starts July 12th and runs until the 14th, so footage should air sometime during that weekend. (and yes, I am the nerd that watches it every year )
