Okay, I'm wondering, if you had to cut out 4 of the 13 dwarves in The Hobbit, which ones would you take out. Like, which 4 are the least important to the story.

The reason I'm asking this is that we are trying to make a home video version of TH. (Now I know this sounds impossible, but we're simplifying it, so it may work out!) And there's no possible way we can get 13 people to play dwarves. So, yeah, that's why this strange question is being asked! :-D

Although you probaly already know my answer, I would cut out Dori, Nori, Ori, and Bofur.

Yeah, we can't get 13 Dwarves unless we double up (like we did in Lord of the Rings, which looked pretty bad :P ).

Why wouldn't they be able to get 13 Dwarves...they usually have lots of money for movies like that...

Nononononono! Sorry if I did not make that clear! It's for I movie that I'm (well, my friends/family and I are) making. Not the one that New Line (or whatever company) will be doing. They'll most deffinatly have all the dwarves!

Anyways, thanks for your telling me what you think. 'Tis greatly apprecaited!

Home-made movie? Sounds super-duper-great! :-D I'd love to see it! Are you going to post it on A-U?

Really? Wow... *Is amazed by that*
No, I don't think I'll post it, because, well, I don't know how to! (I'm not that great with the computer!) Besides, it'll probably be an hour long, and I'm not sure who'd have to patentice to watch it! (I mean, it's home video quality. Even if we had the best actors and effects in the world [which we obviously don't! :P], it wouldn't have the sharpest picture.) Hmmm... maybe if I can get someone who I know to teach me how to post movies, I could post certain clips. There's no promise though!

Will do! :)

Ahhh, do I'm not the only one who had ambitious ambitions! :-D It's werid, I've met quite a few people who want to be actors/actresses when they "grow up" but not many directors!

To be honest I can not think of any dwarves I would want to cut out, they all add something to the story with their cute little names and quirky personalities. (What a help I am...)

I have to agree with you, Miriel. And if I had too, I haven't read the book in forever so I forgot their names...

I'd take Ori, Bofur, Dwalian, and Nori. I would also keep Dori, as he was the one who carried Bilbo through the goblins' caves and saved him from the wolves.

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out! :)

Therain, that sounds awesome, please find somebody to teach you to post it.
I would watch it, I mean, its LOTR........

And where do you live? maybe somebody in A-U lives nearby and can play a dwarf, I sure would love to if you live nearby and I have the time.....

I agree with Taur one which dwarves to take out!

And to post it on AU, you could download it onto YouTube, then post the link on here! That might be the easiest way to go!

But how are you going to get all of those goblins?

^Heh... Let me puy it to you this way; we got a bunch of short kids who cannot act. ;) It was difficult. :)

We're not even done editing this thing! A lot of work. Ad we had a lot of... Hmmm... problems with the actors.

Gosh, I don't even no how to use youtube. (pathetic, huh? :) )

Oh, and we ended cutting out Ori, Nori, Dori, Bifur and Bofur. One of our actors quit on us. :(
