I heard that from someone as well, but I don't know which one they're going to decide on.

well I personally would rather see the hobbit be divided in two movies than one hobbit movie and another movie about the time between the hobbit and LotR, because that way they'd have to shorten the hobbit story more. And most important they'd just make up a story, because Tolkien never really wrote much about the time between LotR and the Hobbit and I wouldn't like that at all

I think Tolkien wrote enough to make a fine movie. There's plenty in the Council of Elrond (chapter) for Gandalf and Aragorn to do, and we could have some Gollum and White Council. There could be more Aragorn and Arwen (I'm finally reconciled to that) and we could see Theoden being cornered by Grima. We could see Faramir and Boromir growing up! *sniffles*

Kudos to Kitoky for the fabulous signature set, and art credit to engelszorn.

2010...wow, I'll be graduating high school. I am so excited by the possibility of early LotR-related events being in the film. Boromir and Faramir young? That's too incredible to think about!

I'm determined to watch the movie in the opening night. No matter what it takes.
