I got Total Films magazine, it had some thing about the Hobbit,
Andy Serkis is now the second Unit Director, he said something about hi and Peter's understanding of Middle-earth, and Peter's sensibility.
They will also be shooting in 48 frames a second, instead of the normal 24, Peter explained it will look more life like in 3D, and normal speed and easier to watch.
Elijah said there will be a lot of new elements, hinting the script wont be a straight adap but could incorporate other Tolkien works, the refer to the same time periods, that's all they said, so i keep looking!

If the shot it in 48 fps... it would be cool if it was in 3D. :-D

It will be in both 48 fps and 3D, but also available in 2D and 24 fps.

It says that part one is december 2012 and part two is december 2013. Still seems a long way off :grr:
