 I didn't notice them in the film too much, so this was really fun to see. I honestly expected even more facial hair, but they're still so cuuute. _________________

I saw them as they were running from the Lonely Mountain. My reaction: Dwarf women are so adorable! My brother had to shush me a couple times.  _________________

All well and good for the films, especially considering that a couple of Jackson's Dwarf-men don't even have 'true beards' in my opinion, if considering the books.
But for races other than Dwarves, Tolkien's Dwarf-women cannot be distinguished from their Dwarf-men.
And in my opinion that means beards... notable beards!

They managed to even make the facial hair look presentable. I am forever awed by the costume artists in this production.

Oh man, I love them! The way they incorporated the braids into their hairstyles is so refined. If dwarf women look like that, I could handle being a dwarf woman.

I think they did a good job incorporating the beards but still letting them look feminine. I didn't even notice them until my second watch-through of the movie.
