I'm very much looking forward to the Extended Edition, especially since I read somewhere that Belladonna Took will make an appearance in one of the extended scenes. Besides that, the extended versions have never disappointed so this one will probably be worth the wait

I'm so excited for the extended editions!!! I actually think that I might wait for the EE and get that instead of the regular edition that's coming out soon... but we'll see. I assume this means that they'll be doing EEs for the whole Hobbit trilogy? I sure hope so - hours of fun await!

Alatáriël, do you know about the production videos they've already put out about the filming process of The Hobbit? There's about 10 of them for the first film, and I suspect they'll continue the tradition for the others. I'm sure you could find them if you look for Peter Jackson's website or just search for "Hobbit Production Videos" on YouTube.

I will download them all if they are on YouTube Thanks sweetie.

I'm not buying any of the Hobbit films until 2015.
They'll be releasing all of them as an extended edition trilogy box set so I'm going to wait until then.
I hate being poor but I can't afford to buy the normal releases, and then wait for the extended editions and buy them as well.

I can't wait for another 2 years, it will be hard on my to wait but I might wait as well because you are not the only poor in here; I myself have a bloody job and can't offer than 2 book per month :/ .

I can't wait for another 2 years, And neither can I Alatariel. I do not have that much money so I will probably have to wait until the extended edition comes out. I could not wait to buy the boxed set,it's hard enough to wait until the Desolation of Smaug cones out in theaters, let alone to buy.

I know!! The Hobbit book is so worn (and so is the Return of the King) but I want to buy so many other books so we have to deal with ripped covers and taped pages!

I just a new copy of The Hobbit with Bilbo on the cover. My LotR books goes back to the 70s (they smell perfectly amazing; I am a book sniffer so please don't mind my note ) so I need new copies.
