okay , so now that Peter Jackson has finally finished King Kong, do u think maybe theres a strong hope that he may start thinking about making The Hobbit movie? after a long rest that is

Well some other company has the wrights to the hobbit- While new line cinema has the other half so they have to get the wright before he can start filming

I had really, really hoped he'd move on and make the Hobbit, but now he's declared his intention to film the Lovely Bones.  Perhaps The Hobbit also has too little action to really attract him? Well before LotR it enjoyed making 15/18 (R) rated movies movies so you never know. And there is a battle in the Hobbit I'm sure he could make a lot out of that. But as well as doing The Lovely Bones first PJ's also doing a film of Halo first. _________________

I've heard that he doesn't have the legal rights to make it yet which is why he's doing other projects in the meantime. And also you can't really blame the fellah, spending over 8 years making basically one and the same movie could make anyone not ever wanting to do fantasy ever again. But, give it a few years more and maybe he'll be able to (or allowed to!)
