Guys, I want to share a find for those who are looking for non-standard ways of advertising, especially if you work in Miami or plan to promote something in this region. Recently I came across an interesting company https://therollingads.com/miami/ These are, in fact, mobile billboards on trucks that drive around the city and broadcast ads on large digital screens. At first, I was skeptical, you know, it seemed like just another “feature for the sake of a feature”. But when I saw it in person, I was really impressed. Why can this be cool? Firstly, the advertising moves. It does not just stand somewhere in the corner and gather dust, like regular billboards, but rolls around the busiest areas - South Beach, Downtown, Brickell, etc. That is, potential clients see it in different places and at different times. And when advertising appears in unexpected places, attention to it is higher, especially among those who are already “blind” to classic banners and billboards. And it's not just a pretty picture - it's real action, not a static banner display that a person scrolled through on their phone and forgot about a second later.
Secondly, their screens are really top-notch. Bright, clear, visible even during the day in bright sunlight - and this is relevant in Miami. Plus the ability to launch not only static images, but also videos, animations and even sound. Imagine - you're walking down the street, and a truck with a cool animation of your brand and sound accompaniment drives by. People turn around, it really grabs you.
I tested this format to promote one event - the launch of a new product. I took it for 4 hours, there was a promotion - $249 per hour instead of the standard $499. Yes, this is not pennies, but if you calculate the reach and real visibility, it turns out to be more profitable than most targets on social networks. Especially considering that it's offline, but with digital elements — they even offer to place QR codes so that people can immediately follow the link. That's what I did — and yes, they scanned, followed, there were registrations. The result is real, not "in theory".
If you take more than 8 hours, the price is even lower — $199/hour. I think for large-scale launches or multi-day promo campaigns — it's generally super. Especially when you want to cover several locations during the day. By the way, they have GPS tracking — you can see in real time where exactly your ad is going. This is convenient for both reports and for planning routes for a specific target audience.
They are based right in the center — 88 SW 7th St, Miami. They work from 8 am to 9 pm, so you can plan both daytime and evening launches. I called — they explained everything over the phone, offered options, even helped with the layout design. Very adequate service, no bureaucracy, everything is clear and to the point.
In general, if you need something really noticeable that will attract attention, I recommend it. Especially if you work in the field of events, promotions, launches of new products, etc. This is a way not just to show advertising, but to stand out. And judging by the reaction of people on the streets, it works.
