I thought Lothlorien was beautiful. If I could live in nature..I would choose to live there. It just looks so peaceful and heavenly. It reminds me of BC here in Canada  The huge trees, the unearthliness of it all. It's really quite breathtaking. :bye2:

If you look at the translations for some of the singing in Lothlorien, you can see how sorrowful they are:

Ilfirin nairelma nauva i nauva
Ilfirin nairelma ar ullume nucuvalme
Nauva i nauva melme nóren sina nairelma...

Undying [is] our regret, what should be shall be
Undying [is] our regret and yet we will cast all away,
What should be shall be, [our] love for this land [is] our regret...

*cries* it's so sad! They don't want to leave their land but they know they have to once Sauron is destroyed...

Aww you're right! That is sad! :( Is that song from the movie or in the book?

They did a grea job on Lothlorien for doing it with a low bidgjet for this
big of a movie. I think its pretty good! I dont like how they show Caras it looks to fake in EE but still... Lothlorien is so quite, calm peacefull I wouldnt mine living there my self.

Rivendell did feal like a heavon on earth when wacthing it. I just drifted it away the first time i saw it. Its amazing.

I think that Rivendell would be an easier place to live your whole life, but I think Lothlorien is just AWESOME!!!!! I would so want to visit!

Personally, I like Rivendell better than Lothlorien, but they're both beautiful.

Lorien was beautifully done i have to say. I wonder what it would've been like before the sadness was taking over? In the happier days...

I thought it was really beautiful. It's hard to believe that they made all the trees! They seem like they're real.

Oh I really love Lothlorien. It was such a beautiful and mystical place. I didn't like the way it was adapted in the theatrical version, but I really liked it in the EE. It's much better there.

I really liked the setting for Lothlorien. It was mysterious and beautiful at the same time - exactly like the elves. Lothlorien is my favorite setting in the whole movie!

If there was only one thing I could add to the entire Lothlorien sequence, it would be a short walk with Aragorn to where he saw Arwen there. Or they might have set this up as a flashback to the season he spent there in 2980.

Lorien has always been my favorite place in Middle-Earth. Wether it's because of Galadriel or something else, I just know that I love it. It's like Gwen said: it's so ancient and mystic. The books make it seem like there's some amazing power protecting it. In my opinion, they made Lothlorien amazing in the movies. I think it fit the description perfectly. :)
