I had a hard time chosing too, but in the end I settled for Legolas.  Like so many people have said, he's great with the bow, very in tune with nature, and he ain't bad looking either. lol   
I love the Three Hunters, so after Legolas would come Aragorn, followed closely behind by Gimli (gee, just like in TTT when they are all running over that mountain lol Breath, Gimli! hahaha ) _________________

ARAGORN.... oh, he's so great. He's strong, and he would give his live for Frodo or any of his friends. And he's in love with Arwen... *swarm* Oh, I love him really most!
He's just followed by Sam - this simple hobbit that would give his life for Frodo too. (I likely have a exhaustion for people who would give their life for others...)

Well, although none of my favorite characters are in the Fellowship, I'd have to say that of the whole band...either Legolas or Aragorn is my favorite. Maybe Boromir. Agh, I can't choose AGAIN!!  I wonder if you can get therapy for that... _________________

I'm not exactly for Boromir because he's a looker, but I admire him because he had the spirit of heart to realize his mistake and fix it
