As i was watching FotR oday, i noticed that Sauron had the ring on his finger on the hand that held his mace. But when Isildur cut it off his fingers, the ring was on the other hand, is Sauron ambidextrous?

Yeah. I'm sure Sauron being all power-ful and all can switch the mace between hands...

I think I like my idea the best--he's got a decoy Ring, and Isildur just got lucky in cutting off the right one.

Eh? Are you talking about the theory that he just switched which hand was holding the mace, or about mine?
