I've always liked the fight with Lurtz. It's ridiculously short compared to the others but more of a struggle and his motivation make it all the more exciting. The ending is just silly.

I kinda wish he got more fights though he did such a great job fighting. Legolas was a good fighter to but since this is about Aragorn I like his fights alot.
I think they did a great job with him in the movie. Hey did you guys here that Viggo almost got arrested during filming the fellowship?! ROFL.

I think I remember that from the Appendices, wasn't it because he'd never go anywhere without his sword and got held up in the town or somehting like that?

that's a neat thought.
my fav fight is when he fight's off the Nazgul or when he fights Lurtz.

Yeah I'm a Legolas fan but I just had to know with all of you lord of the ring fans out there what fight with Aragorn did you like the most? My favorite one was when he was fighting the wraiths after frodo got stabbed. How about ya'll?

same here! but i also love the one where he's pitted against all those orcs, giving Frodo time to run! i think they're both equally good! however i prefer the fights where he's Strider, than when he's Chief of the Dunadan or the King, since it's more expected of him to be a good fighter, but when he's Strider he is choosing to do it and it just feels a lot better! Odd feeling...

That was another good fight. I think what I liked about that one was the way he saw the sword Frodo had glowing and he said go frodo. Thats what made me like Aragorn's character.

yeh, doesn't he rock! personally he is the best character, although i dont think he's the most heroic person in the story... yeh, he's awesome...

Most definatly. I also like Samwise but Aragorn is the best ranger in existance.

ROFL Yeah I loved it when he got trapped by Lurtz sheild and was struggling to get out. I laughed so hard because of the reactions on his face.

The ending is just silly. ^ Pretty much what I was going to say. That was one of my favorite fights that involved Aragorn. I wish it was longer though, he just got pulled in, then he pulled back out his sword and sliced off Lurtz's head. So yes, I agree, it was a silly ending.

I really liked the Amon Hen fight and the Moria one. The nazgul one was pretty cool. I loved how he used fire to scare them away.

I know this may be kind of an unconventional thought on the subject but I think Aragorn's fight that thrills me the most was the one with himself right in The Prancing Pony. Here is where he faces the temptation of the Ring and the easy road to power. Listen to the dialog: "That you are a stout fellow," answered Strider, "but I am afraid my only answer to you, Sam Gamgee, is this. If I had killed the real Strider, I could kill you. And I should have killed you already without so much talk. If I was after the Ring, I could have it--NOW!" He stood up, and seemed suddenly to grow taller. In his eyes gleamed a light, keen and commanding. Throwing back his cloak, he laid his hand on the hilt of a sword that had hung conceiled by his side. They did not dare to move. Sam sat wide-mouthed staring at him dumbly. "But I am the real Strider, fortunately," he said, looking down at them with his face softened by a sudden smile. "I am Aragorn, son of Arathorn; and if by life or death I can save you, I will." The only way Aragorn could marry Arwen was to become the King of the Reunited Kingdoms and the only way to do that was to defeat Sauron. Although seizing the Ring from Frodo was something that Aragorn had compelling object lessons not to do, the temptation of the seemingly easier and surer road was there none-the-less. The powerful temptation to do this was waved in front of Aragorn, but he withstood the temptation. What a stirring description these few paragraphs are of that fierce fight with temptation as he withstands the way of pride and accepts the way of humility!

I like the battle on Amon hen, but my favourite fight is the last when he says "for Frodo" and run to the Gate of Mordor... awesome!!!
