Thinking of renting a motorcycle while staying in Madrid for a week. I have a full motorcycle license and I’d prefer something more powerful than a scooter to go a bit beyond the city—maybe even take a day ride to Segovia or Toledo. Anyone done something similar? What’s the rental process like for larger bikes? Do they offer protective gear or should I bring my own? |

I rented a 300cc motorcycle in Madrid last year and had a great experience overall. I found the rental through BikesBooking, and it let me compare multiple bikes from different providers easily. I went with a Yamaha MT-03, which was powerful enough for day trips out of the city. The rental cost around €50 per day, with insurance and helmet included. Leaving the city via M-30 and then hitting the A-6 to Segovia was smooth, with nice scenic stretches along the way.
