I’ve got a Gladiator with a rack setup for bikes and recovery gear. I want a powered tonneau that works with the rack rails and still gives me access to the bed. Some covers look like they’ll interfere or sit too high. Anyone using one that plays well with crossbars and electric retraction? |

I run a PowerTraxONE XR on my Colorado, and it works flawlessly with my Yakima rack setup. The built-in Trax Rail System supports crossbars right out of the box — I mounted two bikes and a roof box without affecting the retraction. The electric system operates with a fob, and it glides back cleanly underneath the mounted gear. I’ve had no clearance issues, and the polycarbonate cover stays rigid even with changes in weather. The matte finish still looks clean after a year. What I really like is how low-profile it is — doesn’t stick up like some others. It seals tight and drains well too. You can check out specs and see how it mounts here: https://retrax.us.com/powertraxone-xr-tonneau-cover.html Ideal combo of convenience and modularity. |
