I'm planning a small-scale mining setup and trying to figure out how much the new miners cost in 2025. Prices seem all over the place depending on the seller, and it's hard to know if I’m overpaying. Anyone knows the real market value for ASIC models like the WhatsMiner M66S or Antminer S21 Hyd? Even a general idea of current prices or what to avoid would help a lot.

I went through the same process a few weeks back when upgrading my rig. There’s a lot of variation in price depending on whether you're buying directly, second-hand, or through resellers. What helped me get a clear picture was a breakdown on captainaltcoin that focused on bitcoin mining machine price 2025 and how it compares across models. For example, the Hashivo B2 is priced high, around $4,900, but it gives you 800 TH/s—though it also draws 11,000W. The Antminer S21 Hyd sits in the $3,300 range and delivers 335 TH/s, which offers a more efficient power-to-performance ratio. But if budget is tight, the Hashivo B1 might be worth a look—about $2,200, solid 500 TH/s output, and quieter operation thanks to hydro cooling. That article also broke down how pricing is expected to shift post-halving and which models are expected to hold resale value.
