Well, in my expert opinion... *cough, cough*
If you were in the situation where you're out in the wild, and poor Boromir got his head cut off, you wouldn't have the tools needed to re-attach a head to a body. So I'd probably just set the head so that it's touching the neck... a little more dignified than it being totally seperate.

Weird. I'd try to put the head at last back on the body...but if you sent him down a waterfall what if the head fell out the boat?

This is a little weird. I really don't know what i'd do. I'd probably throw up first *i have kind of a weak stomach* but I think I'd morn over just the head because I think you'd be looking at the head anyway even if it was attached to the body.

Personally I would stand in between the body and head so that I could mourn, because if you think abbout it the head wouldn't roll to far away from the body. Failing that I would mourn over the body. Picking up someone's head is way to odd.

This really has never occured to me! Well, I suppose I would just stand back and mourn, then reattach the head and body for the funeral.

Okay that's really weird, but an original question. I wouldn't really mourn, I'd be grossed out. I'd attempt to put the head & body together than bury/burn whichever chosen. Then I would mourn at the funeral. That's that.
