Didn't they say on the DVD's that they left all (or part) of the Rivendell set up?

Rivendell was pretty amazing.. I was watchign the commentaries, and they showed how they put a miniature and a real-life shot into one.. that was just amazing! I would never have known they did that if I didn't watch the commentaries!

Rivendell was gorgeous. It fit perfectly with the grace of the Elves.

hehe, like what is goin to happen in The HObbit! ugh...watch them totally mess up with the part in Rivendell (trying to stay on topic) UGH i hate when people mess up movies based on books

A friend of mine actually wants to do that. Though, he also wants to have a house that looks like a Hobbit hole, and a house that looks like one of the buildings in Lothlorien, so I'm not sure how that's going to work out.

Can you imagine the maintenance on a garden like Rivendel's? That'd take all day! Anyways, lol, I loved Rivendel, it was one of my fav. places in LotR
