Oh! Why have Gimli and Merry only got 5 votes? Poor Gimli. Poor Merry.

Yes I know. But people do have their favorites. If I could I would vote for everyone!

I must say Sam, because the only way he got into the journey to destory the Ring was snooping around, and then of course Gandolf catching him and sending him away to watch over Frodo.

Whywhywhy must you ask such a difficult question of me??? I love them all for different reasons, except for Boromir whom I like less than the rest. *cowers behind Legolas to avoid being attacked by Boromir fans* Reasons?
Frodo: He's cool! A very good character, with shades of good and bad in him. Plus, erm, pretty eyes.
Sam: Loyal to the end! Much like myself, actually. He's so sweet too, and his character goes through such an enormous change during the story.
Merry: What can I say? He's just great! Plus, he helped rally the Ents for Helm's Deep.
Pippin: FUNNY! "In fact, it's better if you don't speak at all, Peregrin Took." Also, that song he sang in ROTK was sooo cool.
Gandalf: His awesomeness knows no bounds!
Aragorn: Where to begin? The classic hero-turned-king. You just have to love him. Plus, he speaks Elvish. And is a good horseman.
Legolas: Alright. Fine. Maybe I fancy him. But I also respect him for his archery skills!
Gimli: He's great! His dialouges with Legolas are some of my favorite parts of the movie.
Boromir: As I said, I like him less than the rest. *hides* But I also must repsect him to a degree for defending Merry and Pippin literally to the death.

I voted for Leggy! (Bet that none of you saw that coming, now did you?) Lol, jk. Anyway, Legolas is cute, pretty, handsome, beautiful, etc. But my other reasons for liking him is that he is the coolest and most skilled archer ever, he lets his actions speak for him, and that is kind and gentle to nature and all of its creatures.

Aragorn's my favourite because he has courage and loyalty and and he's a great guide to the other member of the fellowship

Same here, Aragorn is a good leader. Plus I love the transformation from reluctant Ranger to confident king!
