I was just kidding......I really don't like blood and gore and other stuff like that. In truth I have a pretty weak stomach, so I tend not to watch when there is a lot of blood and chopping of heads. It really isn't that bad in LotR though, there isn't a lot of close up slashing of heads and blood flying.

I think I can stand it - I think. It really isn't all that bad. I've never watched The Patriot, but my social studies teacher told my glass that it's way too gruesome and slightly inaccurate. :bye2:

Well, the scene where Boromir dropped the sword was kinda wierd, never really got that. The scene where Pippin says Frodo's real name and Frodo trips and Ring goes on his finger (just by chance, right? :annoyed2:) That was a weird scene too, I didn't like the way it played out and how the ring got to be on Frodo's finger, it didn't look real.

Yeah, I agree - it just chanced upon slipping onto his finger - but you know, is it possible that the ring purposely let it slip onto his finger - for some unknown reason? I'm rereading FotR, and the ring seems to have a whole lot of physical power inspite of its size. :bye2:

In the books the Ring seems almost like a kind of bieng with a power and will of it's own. There are also plenty of mentions of the Ring doing things i.e. the Ring deserting Gollum and finding Bilbo in the Hobbit, and the Ring 'slipping' off Isildurs finger when he jumps in the water during the ambush of orcs. So the Ring has free will in a sort of way, it could have 'deserted' Frodo as it did Gollum anytime it wanted. It then gets into this kind of 'fate' or 'free will' discussion. Was it fate that Frodo inherited the Ring or was it the Rings power of 'free will'? :) Just a thought........

Well my Elf friend, I think that the Ring did not abandone Frodo because may-b the Ring knew what Frodo was about to do, and as he got closer to it's master it would find it's way to the hands of men or may-b Frodo wa sextra careful with it. The Ring tried to get back to the hands of men many times but failed, I guess that Frodo was extra careful with it. But yes the Ring does have will of it's own, and will do any thing to get back to it's master.
It's just what I think my Elf friends... :-D

Hm,I can't really decide what I disliked most...
I am so afraid of the Ringwraiths on Weathertop, but if it wasn't in the film, something would be missing, right?

And Galadriel is a bit ... ghost-like isn't she? I like her a lot better in the books...

I love all the scenes in all the movies... I don't have a least favourite and I'll never have. But there's a dialogue that I think it's boring - in 'The Return of the Shadow' when Gandalf explains: 'This is the One Ring...' - OMG I KNOW, that is soooo boring!

Oh but the whole creation of the Uruk Hai thing. That was probably it.. lol

Yeah I found the creation of the Uruk Hai a bit weird. And gross.

Me neither. That whole scene with Aragorn and Boromir I found slightly boring.
