Hobbiton looked like a dreamplace. A place where you could hide from the RW and where you could have fun in the Green Dragon everytime ![]() But NO fireworks ![]() |

Lol, it's really homey and it's just has that reall, close hobbity feel, if you know what i mean, and the music that Danny Elfman did went really well with it as well i think. |

^Um, I believe Howard Shore was the composer for LotR, not Danny Elfman. I loved PJ's interpretation of the Shire. It was so green and peaceful, very different from the rest of Middle Earth. The Hobbits are rather cloistered, though, they think of no one but themselves, and are cut off from the reality of the world around them. Yet we all love them, don't we? ![]() |

Hobbiton is one of my favourite Middle-earth places! It's just so beautiful and the inhabitants are so endearing. I think it's due to the fact PJ and his team made Hobbiton so believable that you wish you could live there! ![]() |

I loved Hobbiton! I loved the simple way and the joys. I could easily identify with the seclusion and removing themselves from the outside world, because the city I live in, is just like that. We tend to forget there's an outside world.... I remember seeing FotR in theater for the very first time, and when Gandalf goes around the bend and you can see Hobbiton, and the busyness and the buildings. I was so excited, it was like a whole other world. Anyways, I also think the music fit perfectly, it was light and cheery describing the hobbits persona. It just makes me want to giggle everytime I hear the friendly little tune |

Haerion, that sounds awesome.. And does PJ own a hobbit hole? ![]() I love the Shire and Hobbiton and how different it is from the rest of Middle-earth. If I could choose one place to live in Middle-earth, it would probably be there. And the music fits perfectly with the hobbits, it just makes you a bit excited every time you hear it. ![]() ![]() |

Agreed, agreed. PJ did a wonderful job making the Shire as realistic as possible. It seemed as if you could actually live there. As if behind every hobbit hole door there would be a little house inside bustling with people. It gave me such a feeling of peace. |

I think that Hobbiton is a very nice looking place. It looks so real, and it sounds almost exactly as the book describes it. I also love the Hobbiton music. ![]() |
