Nice ad Gandolorin!

Not sure if I can remember a fav moment in reading the Hobbit book because I read it once in 1975. I guess Bilbo scoring the troll treasure and his 'pay' from the Lonely Mountain and living a life of the eccentric millionaire while keeping his life simple.

Off the cuff the scene at the beginning of chapter 12 “Inside Information” when the door to the tunnel into Erebor had just opened, Bilbo’s cross response to Thorin’s pompous speech just before (on which JRRT in his narrator voice also comments on with at least mild sarcasm). :disgust:
