yes! i love the hobbit! one of my childhood favourites. i love king bard...i don't know why, but he just seems like a cool character, even though he is only mentioned a bit.

Course Beorn !!! But I loved The Hobbit very much!!!It's so cool!And the beginning of LOTR series...

I loved the scene of Gollum and Bilbo's...They were contesting...That scene was breathtaking!!!

Yeah, Gollum and Bilbo had a pretty nice conversation. Riddles in the dark indeed. :D
But my fave character ... Aww, can't help, I love them all - yep, even my preciusss Gollum. :D
I like the Battle of the Five Armies and the dinner at the Bag End in the beggining of the book, but the Troll adventures ... OMG I couldn't stop laughing. Bilbo was so cooL!

And the first page of book...there was some dwarvish runes...I solved them..:D that was gr8 too!!

Yes, this is good.
You can also join the TRG, we're reading the Hobbit right now. Some people fell behind so we're waiting anothe week for them to catch up.

My favorite character in the hobbit is Bilbo. I know that sounds cliche to choose him, but well, he's just so very lovable. He makes a lot of really bad choices and starts a ton of trouble, bjut that only adds to how endearin he is to me.

Well, I am by no means posting "soon" after you posted. Sorry. However I just finished reading the Hobbit for the first time and I'm eager to talk about it. So here I am. :-D

My favorite character was Bombur. He was funny and seemed to allways be in the way. lol
My favorite chapter was probabley An Unexpected Party. :-D That was very funny...hmm looks like in the funny stuff in The Hobbit. Then my favorite part in that chapter was when Bilbo was and Gandalf were talking about good morning and when the dwarves wouldn't leave poor Bilbo alone. (laughs)

My fav character is Balin. I like the idea of the friendship between him and Bilbo. I also like Beorn, I think he's a very interesting character and I also like his love for animals.

I love the dwarves. They're just awesome. And the dragon, of course. Gotta love the dragon :vampire: And the trolls...

Lol--I loved Smaug, Bard, and the Elvenking (Thranduil). The chapter when they're in the Palace of the Elvenking is my favorite.
