My parents say that when we went to see the Two Towers in the movie theaters, I was scared of the "trees" and would sit really still when they came on the screen....I was only like 7 though, but was anyone else afraid of them?

Scared of the Ents... nope. I actually like them. I especially like their eyes- they're so... deep, and full of knowledge.

Awww --- you're much too young to being seeing these movies at that age!

TTT came out in 2002 right? In 2002... I was in year 4, around 8. I'm 12 now... that doesn't make sense to me Eruwaedhiel xD Maybe I just age really slowly xD
ANYWAY. I didn't find the Ents scary =P I found them actually quite amusing o_O

They didn't scare me in the movies, but they totally freaked me out in the books. I read the Two Towers when I was 10 and had nightmares of huge trees chasing me around a forest, singing 'Mary had a little Ent'. Weirdest thing ever.

Um, that's not really possible for you to'ave been 7,
'cause that would mean TTT came out like 6 years ago,
and it hasn't been long.

Folks, the movie WAS rated PG13, so i think that was the reason why you got the creeps since you watched it at tht age....
Personaly i found the ents...entertaining, becouse of their differences, their wisdom and their temper. One of Tolkiens most respected creations in my opinion

I admit, the first time I watched the movie, I didn't quite...fully understand the Ents. I mean, I didn't think they were bad, and I wasn't scared of them, I was just...I don't know...confused. I knew they had so much depth, so much more to them, but I didn't know. I think that really changed once I read the book.

I've always thought they were cool. Except when Treebeard thought that Pippin and Merry were orcs. I was annoyed.

I loved the Ents, I found them very interesting. For some reason they reminded me of my grandparent's because they are both so old and wise.
I was 12 when TTT came out so it was understandable that wasn't scared by them.

I wish I have known about LotR sooner... then I could've seen the movies on a BIG screen But I only learned about it in 2005... very sad...

^ Me too. I only vaguely remember them coming into theaters, and now I'm dissapointed that I'll never get to watch them on the big screen.
