For me, this was the best scene in the movie and it was very dramatic. I believe that Howard Shore's music made the scene even more exciting and entrancing, what do you guys think? Apparently it's also Elijah Wood's fav scene, that's just a random piece of useless information lmao.

I really liked the scene in the Dead Marshes. I thought it was very creepy. The dead faces in the water............. *shudders* I think it would have been a hard scene to act out as well. There's a lot of emotion there.
I didn't know it was Elijah's favorite scene! I'll have to remember that! *makes mental note* Thanks!

Hee hee lol well i was randomnly reading stuff about Elijah Wood because i have a crush on him of course lol and that's one of the things it said. I was shocked because i was like 'THATS MY FAVOURITE SCENE TOO1' Yup acting oit out would have been soo difficult.

Frodos Guide, you really have to join our informal Elijah Frodo club here. It's for all lovers of Lij and Frodo. It's in the Swoon Board if you're interested. It would be nice to see you there!

Umm I'm not sure how I liked the Dead Marshes... well, the scene was creepy and icky, so I guess they did a good job on that. But all the dead people in the water... eww..
By the way, doesn't this thread rightly belong in the Movie Discussions?

Gasp! Ea is right! I didn't even think about that! Perhaps we should ask to have it moved?

The mods are usually pretty good about checking that sort of thing. I don't think there's any real need to bother them further. They're busy people. Until then, I suppose it's alright to continue with the discussion a bit.
Carry on then..............

lol and carry on i shall indeed. I thought we were on the movie discussion board lmao. Anyway I'm a little excited when i see the scene. The wholefalling flat into the water that Elijah Wood did was absolutley brilliant. It was soo powerful!

Every time I see him fall into the water I think "Eew" .LOL. Lij was brave to fall into that yucky water. Although, I suppose it wasn't so yucky in real life. And the dead thing that he practically fell on top of He did do very well though. Just kind of......... let himself go. What's really impressive is how well he acts when he's in the water. He looks so terrified, yet if you think about it, those thing that he saw weren't even there in real life, yet he made it seem like they were. He's a talented guy.

Without a doubt Elijah Wood is definatley one of the world's most talented actors. The fact he actually falls FLAT though...he falls FLAT and that's unbelieveabley well done. He does act soo superbley and in the scene buliding up to where he comes face to face with the Nazgul, where he bows his head and looks up to make him look uncontrolable is absolutley brilliant!

I know. Poor Sam. He saved Frodo too. Bless him. As Frodo even said, Sam's the chief character. He's Samwise the Brave.

YES. I completely and totally loathed Gollum after this scene. You know, I had been thinking that there was some good in having him around, and at least the Smeagol side was good, but after this scene, I wanted him dead. And i wanted to kill him. I wanted to cut his head off and stomp in it and.......... violent things!
It's a rather good thing that I couldn't kill him though, because he did help destory the Ring in the end.
And yes, of course, dear, brave Sam. What would we do without him? *huggles Sam*
